Meg MacPherson Morine.

Registered Physiotherapist + Owner

Meg completed her undergraduate studies in Physiology and Kinesiology at McGill and Dalhousie Universities where she graduated with Distinction. She then went on to complete her Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. During her time at University, Meg competed competitively in Women's Lacrosse. Meg uses a variety of treatment techniques to meet the needs of her clients. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and STOTTĀ® Pilates Rehab Instructor, which gives her a unique expertise in exercise prescription. Meg has completed training in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University and is a Fellow in the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapists (FCAMPT), which is the highest accreditation for orthopaedic physiotherapy in Canada. 

Meg has been a clinical instructor and group facilitator to students from the University of Toronto Physical Therapy program and York University Kinesiology program. She is an instructor in the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and has also been invited to give lectures and lead workshops on running mechanics, training techniques, and injury prevention. She has previous experience working at two of the top sports medicine clinics in Toronto and has learned and worked with some of the leading rehab professionals in North America. 

Outside of work, Meg has become very passionate with endurance sports, personally completing marathons, duathlons and triathlons. Through her personal experience and educational background, she has an in-depth understanding of the demands of endurance sport and has a trained eye at examining biomechanical deficiencies that lead to injury. In addition to a wide variety of endurance athletes, Meg has worked with professional hockey players, speed skaters, gymnasts and soccer players but especially enjoys working with recreational athletes to improve their performance and maintain an injury-free state.  

Being a mom to three, she now has a wonderful appreciation for the incredible limits of the human body! She has found a renewed passion in post-natal exercise and building back core stabilization after the demands of pregnancy and delivery.
